Marketing
and Exposure
- Your books will be reviewed and posted to the NMSPC website
- A copy of all Local History projects will be donated to the New Mexico State Library
- Books will be made available for sale at the NMLA Annual Conference and other conferences attended by NMSPC or InaBind of New Mexico throughout the state
- All titles will be available at the NMSPC book store
- NMSPC will provide 5 hours of telemarketing to pre-sell book copies
- A “new release” announcement will be sent to all school libraries via email
- Titles will be featured in our quarterly newsletter sent to all subscribers
- Ideas for book signings and events to promote your book in your school/community
- One press release to announce your project
Technical Support
- We will guide you through your decisions on paper selection, page layout and cover design
- We provide you with state-of-the-art binding equipment to create your soft or hard cover books
- We provide all the training necessary to make you comfortable with binding your own books
We also help with:
- Permission slips for student and donor contributions
- Projecting supply budgets
- Identifying motivational guest speakers for your students
- Identifying available grants for publishing when possible
- Networking opportunities with experienced teachers and mentors
- Tips and tools to make your project a success!
Membership fees
- Membership fees are free with all Fastback binder annual service agreements. If you do not own a Fastback binder, the annual membership fee is $1,295.00, which includes the use of a binder for one (1) school year.
